1. Where should I make a booking for analysis?

Booking can be made in UMPOINT V3 system or if you not sure, you may contact contact directly to respective lab in charge or email to lab_infra@um.edu.my or contact 03-7967 4619 (INFRA@KPPI) 

2. Is the lab service provided open for outsiders?

Yes. Kindly refer to our brochure & charging rate for further information.

3. How long it takes to complete the analysis?

The laboratory will provide the results within 15 days (or more, with agreement by both parties)

4. How is the reporting of the test results?

Standard test results will be provided (soft copy only). Further analysis or full report upon request or agreed by the laboratory personnel.

5. Any accredited ISO17025 test available in this lab?

Yes. Only applicable for BET test under ASTM D3663-20

6. How long is the validity of the payment for analysis?

1 year from the date of submission.

7. How to pay for my sample?

  •  UM grants holder can pay using Internal Money Transfer

  •  Cashless payment can be made via epay.um.edu.my or online transfer to UM Innovations Sdn Bhd CIMB Account number 8007814214

If you need an invoice, kindly submit your Purchase Order to our laboratory personnel

8. Should I pay for a few services at one time?

Yes. You may choose more than one service and pay accordingly.

9. Can I get a refund if I change my mind and want to cancel the analysis?

Once payment has been made, no cancellation or refund is allowed. Kindly get consultation regarding the instrument and method with our laboratory personnel before making any payment.

10. My grant is not sufficient to pay for the analysis. Can I top-up with my money?

Yes you can make a cashless payment to epay.um.edu.my or online transfer to UM Innovations Sdn Bhd CIMB Account number 8007814214 and attached the receipt with the Internal Money Transfer slip.

11. I lost the receipt. How can I reprint the receipt?

Open epay.um.edu.my and go to My Payment History tab to reprint your receipt.

12. I already made a payment in 2019 and just this year I'm doing my lab work. Can I continue to use the laboratory services?

As stated in our terms and conditions, all payment only valid for 1 year from date of submission. We will send an email as reminder before the due date.

13. How long I can get the invoice?

The invoice will be provided within 1-2 working days.
